Marathon Distributors’ wholly owned warehouse is strategically located in the Latsia Industrial Area, near the Nicosia-Limassol highway, allowing quick and easy access to all major towns across Cyprus. Built in 2009 and expanded in 2023, this state-of-the-art warehouse was specifically designed to meet the strictest regulatory standards, for ensuring safe, efficient and compliant storage of pharmaceutical products.
/ Size and Capacity
Our warehouse covers a total area of 3,630m². With a clear height of 14 meters, the facility features racking systems with up to 8 pallet levels, fully utilising vertical space and maximising storage capacity. The warehouse accommodates over 3,000 pallet locations and 6,000 picking locations.
/ Storage Area
The warehouse is temperature and humidity-controlled, maintaining ambient 15-25C˚and refrigerated 2-8C˚storage conditions and relative humidity levels <60%. It is equipped with advanced HVAC systems and backup generators ensuring that required storage conditions are kept. Our Building Management System monitors and controls temperature and humidity levels, triggering alerts if thresholds are breached. Within the warehouse, we maintain dedicated areas with restricted access for the secure storage of narcotic and psychotropic drugs and other segregated areas for returned, recalled, expired and rejected products
/ Security Measures
A robust, multi-layered security system guarantees the highest level of protection and includes CCTV surveillance, access control, security alarms, fire detection and suppression systems. Security is further reinforced with physical measures such as perimeter fencing, outdoor security lighting and professionally trained security guards who patrol and monitor the premises 24/7. The building is constructed in accordance with local seismic codes and standards to ensure structural integrity in the event of an earthquake.
